The wide, flat wire of the staple lies perfectly against the surface so that the bond can't tear. Our galvanised steel No. 140 flatwire staples feature an 10mm leg length, 10.6mm breadth. Precision cut legs provide optimal material penetration. Our full range of tools and staples are colour coded and marked with icons to make it easy to find the correct tool and staple combinations. Staple usage tip: 1/3 of the staple leg length should be the same as the thickness of the material you are fastening, and 2/3 of the staple leg length should penetrate the material that you are fastening to.
